Standing Muse. 2004. Clay. 26 x 5 x 5 in.
Clay figure on wire armature the evening before being cast in plaster. The pose was based loosely on a figure that I started to sculpt in 2002 in New York but never finished. A few photographs of the original and some imagination are what allowed this figure to come into being a second time...
